Lovers
The family is the basic unit of society. The family has its origin in love. The intricate relationship between society, love and regeneration form a rich vein for exploration through sculpture. Njobo tried to bring out this intimacy and absorption felt through love in his sculpture.

The Spirit Medium
Man has sought to counter supernatural forces with other supernatural powers he understands. Spirit mediums are one of these forces. Not only do the Shona drive the satisfaction of life after death through the spirit medium, but they are also able to re-live the past through the same means.

The Bloom
”Flowers”, symbolize the beginning of life, "seeds", the transience of beauty, "petals and stem", sacrifice of parenthood. In this sculpture not only is the flower in full bloom, but it also carries with it a lot of life, like lizards and other fauna.

The Big Five constitute the top five of the jungle hierarchy as seen by man. Fear of these animals and the desire to see them have captivated mankind since the beginning of time.

Repentance time
The metaphysical world stretches our imagination to the limit. Sin and repentance form part of this metaphysical world in many religions. Taking a bath whilst in a kneeling position and whilst using herbal concoctions is part of the cleansing and repentance ceremonies of the Shona people. It is also expected to bring good luck to the partaker.

Seeded Future
Flower and fruit metamorpho-
sis’s into a belly full of seed. Plant and animal have no boundaries separating them. Through this form the artist explores the theme of hope. Pregnancy or seeds represent growth and hope for the future. As Ernest Hemingway would put it "It is a sin not to hope."

Lovers View
Lovers see the world through eyes clouded with emotion. To the Saran the sharp lines define the sculpture. The peals and the curves have a sexual aura to the lover and the sharp lines only helps to make them more pronounced.

The Duckling
The mother and child’s love and bond relationship is universal in the animal kingdom. The mother gives love and tries to give maximum protection to its prodigy from predators and a hostile environment. By observing such relationships we are able to communicate with other animals and come to the realization that the world is ours to share with these creatures.

The naked eye
Njobo tries to make a statement on what we see and how we see it. In his sculpture the head loops to form the eye. Thus most of our view of the world is not formed by the eye, but is what the mind makes of the world. The eye consists of vast emptiness attached to  imagination or the mind.

New Look
The combination of the Historic chevron pattern, found in Great Zimbabwe, and the sharp pronounced lines makes a contrast between the traditional Shona sculpture and that of Western culture. The resultant sculpture goes beyond mono culture and cuts across the boundaries of time.

Fertility Dance
"All creatures bright and beautiful" come together to perform the dance of posterity. The frogs dance together in a heap as each of the males tries to propagate its genes. The strong, the patient and the hopeful all take their position in the dance greatly reflecting what also takes place in human life.
