Afrodizzyart is a young and dynamic African based art company, with intentions on taking its artists to the International market through e-commerce and a chain of Global Afrodizzyart galleries. The Afrodizzyart HQ is in Sandton, Johannesburg. All the uniquely chosen African hand-crafted art pieces will be imported to this hub from where they will be exported to the world market.

Afrodizzyart’s first aim is to showcase some of the most beautiful African stone art from its network of artists all over Zimbabwe. All pieces are unique and hand sculpted by the Shona and Ndebele artists of Zimbabwe. The art is brought to SA and made available to the local corporate market, top interior designers, as well as affluent art collectors globally. Each stone art piece comes with a certificate of authenticity. This certificate will not only confirm which artist has sculpted the masterpiece, but also gives the buyer the dimensions, stone type, piece name and the spiritual story of how the piece came to be.

In order to ensure that these masterpieces are available on an ongoing basis the “Afrodizzyart Initiative” was created. This entails setting up an Afrodizzyart CC Account for the artists and their families. The Afrodizzyart CC Account will generate income from each piece that is sold. The funds raised are paid out annually to the designated Tribal leaders. This assists the proud people of Zimbabwe to retain their dignity and provide a living for their families.

Afrodizzyart, as a business, is wholeheartedly committed to the upliftment of the artists and their art. Afrodizzyart have and will continue to provide the artists with much needed food, clothing and tools in order for them to concentrate on producing their world class art without everyday worries. This year Afrodizzyart has already secured 4 tons of stone from Zimbabwean mines and another 10 tons will be delivered before the end of the year.

With an extensive business and marketing plan, both locally and internationally, “Afrodizzyart Initiative” T-shirts will be for sale through the website. The intention with the T-shirts will be firstly to generate capital for the Afrodizzyart CC Account; secondly to create global awareness of the “initiative”, and thirdly ensuring the website is seen by as many people as possible. Links have already been secured with other corporate websites who share the passion for the Shona arts and the wellbeing of the Zimbabwean people.
