Zimbabwe: a country in crisis. The Zim dollar is worthless; there is a shortage of food, no services and the population is downtrodden by the political scenario. HOW WILL THEIR ART SURVIVE? The Shona and Ndebele tribes, a proud Zimbabwean people, believe that one day right will prevail. Out of that quiet pride and persistence the AFRODIZZYART INITIATIVE was conceived.

A group of Zimbabweans, patriots to their country, but not to its politics, are bringing works of art into South Africa and onto the international market. A portion of the sculpture sale is given to Afrodizzyart CC: an account that is being built to ensure the wellbeing of Zimbabwean artists and the education of their talented young sculptors.
